Dear All,

Peace! Greetings from the Philippines!

I would like to know if there are any available English text on line of DL of St. John Chrysostom in English with Deacon's participation (rubrics included) and Prokeimona (weekdays and feast days) in English according to Greek tradition.

Hoping for your favorable response.

Hello Reader Gregory,

Is this what you are looking for? We use the Liturgikon (http://www.light-n-life.com/shopping/order_product.asp?ProductNum=LITU260)in our parish in English and we have a Deacon.

Thank you so much for your reply! Reading the description of the book (product), it seems that this is what we need in the Philippines. Is everything in the book in English? Also, does the Typicon or Liturgical Services of Antiochian same also with of Constantinople? Lastly, is there any possibility to get a copy of this book on line for free?

Our parish is under OMHKSEA of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

Your kind assistance will be of great help for the development of liturgical services of our mother church in the Philippines.... training of tonsured Readers as well as young men helping in the liturgical celebrations.

God Bless!

Sorry Reader Gregory,

Perhaps one of the clergy can answer these questions. I am just an acolyte and have only thumbed through this book. I can't even spell Typicon let alone translate it. As far as lining up with the EP, I am sure there are differences, but I can't imagine they are too great. Since they are selling the book, I doubt it is online. However you can go to this site (http://antiochian.org/resources/liturgical)to see weekly services (http://antiochian.org/liturgical-guide).

Sorry I cannot help more.

No worry Paul, thank you for your time answering my query. Yes, from time to time I use as a reference the available liturgical guide posted in the Antiochian website for our Sunday liturgical bulletin for prokiemena and antiphons for great feasts and it's very helpful... :)

Again, thank you for providing me the link and the book that we need to have.

God Bless!
