My searching skills are sadly lacking this evening. I was asked the question of "When was the Orthodox Church first called 'Orthodox'?" and I'm not coming up with the answer. I have a vague recollection of reading something a good while back about it being in the fourth century, but I'm not sure.

Help!

Thanks!

An written Orthodox source that I have writes that this term was first used in Patristic writings during the fifth century.
