I saw here a thread that dealt with the union of the Trinity and perichoresis. I am currently working on my Senior Seminar paper on this topic. I am proposing that the liturgy is the way that we are invited to participate in the divine dance of God. I was hoping to gain some insights from some of the members here because the more i study it, the more i appreciate the Orthodox tradition. I am currently deep into the texts of St. Maximus the Confessor studying the perichoretic union in the two natures of Christ. I was wondering in general if anyone here has heard of this comparison? I did read some interesting things about the Cosmic Liturgy. I am not terribly familiar with the intricacies of Orthodox liturgy, but are there any parts of the liturgy that you would consider distinctly perichoretic? Thanks!
