Orthodox Chants are probably the most beautiful sounds ever to be created by man, and reflect the true beauty of our Orthodoxy. Do you have any favorite chants that you would like to share with me, by providing links to sites such as youtube? I have a lot of them, but to give a couple of examples I'll provide a couple of links.

Both are very beautiful, and more beautiful chants can be found in the playlist titled "Orthodoxy", that is on the right hand side of your screen when you click the videos.

Though YouTube audio quality leaves something to be desired, there are some nice selections. I'm particularly fond these St. Daniel Monastery selections:
The Lord's Prayer

Joy of All Who Sorrow

Prayer to the Holy Spirit

If someone knows how to get a hold of a CD of this I would forever be in your debt.

I checked the two biggest Orthodox CD sellers that I know of and niether had anything. You might try contacting John Graham at http://www.georgianchant.org He probably knows more about Georgian chant recordings than anyone. Don't let his age fool you, he has spent a great deal of time studying in Georgia, and even found Orthodoxy through their music. He had gone to the library to check out a Gregorian Chant CD, and accidentally got a Georgian Chant CD. He was hooked and went to Georgia to study the music, where he also became Orthodox.

Do you mean recordings of the choir of the Danilov Monastery in Moscow? I have several CDs of their work.

I think this is non-Chalcedonian, and I don't understand a word of it. But the music is beautiful -- Ethiopian Orthodox church music.

That was beautiful, as all the videos recomended here.
If anyone wants to make the videos they find into a mp3 format so they can put it on their computer, CD, or iPod, they can use the website http://www.listentoyoutube.com
Its very easy, and I have done this with a number of chants that I've found
Can anyone here identify the cantor on this video? Also, the title of the hymn? I find his singing absolutely epic and mesmerizing, but the nondescript title "Greek Orthodox Byzantine Chant" is all there is.

You can try asking the make of the video 'Sunyaaa'
http://www.youtube.com/sunyaaa
The piece being sung is the first stikheron sung after "Lord, I have cried" of Little and Great Vespers of Pentecost:
We celebrate Pentecost and the coming of the Spirit, the appointed time of the promise and the fulfilment of hope. How great is the mystery? Great indeed and revered! And so we cry out to You: Creator of all, Lord, glory to You!
I can't help with the name of the singer, but this may be a clue: His pronunciation suggests he is not a native Greek speaker (though another possibility is that he could be of Greek ancestry, but has not been brought up in the language).
