Dear Mary,
Here is a small youtube snippet from 'EIKONA' (three presvyteres)...The CD is widely available and it is very good and pleasant to listen to, and it is in English except for a small verse here and there.

You can also access it in its entirety here:

Hallo!
I recorded nearly the whole service in Greek from an internet radio. It is from the Mitropolis of Kerkyra (Corfu, Greece). I will edit it the next days, and if you like I can upload it and provide you with the link. But please don't expect too much from the recording quality, it is definitely no CD quality or even close to it.
Thank you Alice!
And thank you, Dimitris. I'll be waiting for your link. I'd like to hear it in Greek. The English seems to have something missing in it. It must be the Greek. =)

Hallo!
You are right. The Akathist to the Mother of God is actually considered as un-translateable.
You (and of course anyone else who likes) find the link at http://www.arvanitis.at/Akathist.zip. It is a zip-compressed file which contains the mp3 files and the playlist file. Be aware the compressed file size is about 116 MB. The Small Compline is unfortunatelly missing and also the first two oikoi of the first stasis. As said before, the recording quality is rather bad. A low-bitrate stream from a broadcast with rather difficult recording enviroment (live service from a church).... However, in my opinion, the performance of the church choir is outstanding (they perform a way of chanting which, as far as I know, you can only find in the Greek Ionian islands) and therefore the atmosphere was very exceptional, which is also transported through the bad recording.
