Hallo!
I need a little help in identifying the persons on the icon of Lamentation, which you find at http://www.arvanitis.at/Lamentation.jpg. Christ and the Theotokos are clear. The woman standing next to the cross would be Maria Magdalene, while the other woman should be Maria, the wife of Clopas and mother of James and Joses, right? The person holding Christ's hand is apostle John, I suppose. The two other men I suppose are Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus. I think Joseph of Arimathea is the one bowing at Christ's feet while the man holding the ladder is Nikodemus. Is this correct?
