I was wondering about the history of the "O Heavenly King..." prayer: do we know who composed it, how old is it, etc.
Any details would be appreciated!

I don't know the answer, but it's possible that the late Olivier Clément's book Three Prayers: The Lord's Prayer, O Heavenly King, and the Prayer of St. Ephrem might cover that. I can't tell from the Google Books preview (http://books.google.com/books?id=yoO-KW9Cf1AC&printsec=frontcover&source=gbs_v2_summary_r&cad=0#v=onepage&q=&f=false) if it does or not.
