I was thinking about asking a Romanian Orthodox to travel to Mount Athos. He is very familiar with the Greek service, but I was hoping that there was a skete or other place that had a Romanian presence.

Thank you in advance for your replies,

Matthew

Here's one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prodromos_%28Mount_Athos%29

It's a Romanian skete which is dependent on Great Lavra. I'm sure there are others.

As well as St John the Baptist skete (Prodromou), there are groups of Romanians in various monasteries - I believe there are several at Vatopaedi.

Well most of the Greek Monasteries a Romanian should feel welcome after all St Stephen the Great donated lots of money to them
